Laser Treatment for Razor Bumps

Listen up men! Do you suffer from razor bumps, also known as shaving bumps or beard bumps? Now there’s a solution. Pristine Laser Center can help you get rid of this problem permanently.
Pseudofolloculitis barbae is the medical term used to describe razor bumps also known as beard bumps. It is an irritating skin condition as a result of an inflammatory reaction surrounding ingrown hairs.
Razor bumps are mostly from shaving or plucking of the hair. Pseudo-folliculitis is not an infection as there are no microorganisms involved in the process.
Clinically individuals will have bumps that look like acne. This is usually seen in dark-skinned individuals with thick, tightly curled hair. This is most prevalent in African-American men as well as some Hispanics, Middle Easterners and in some others where coarse, curled hair is common.
Treatment options include discontinuation of shaving and only using scissors or electric clippers. There are some pharmacologic treatments as well.
The best method for permanent result is laser treatments. At Pristine Laser Center, we have successfully treated many individuals with who had previously suffered from razor bumps. After a series of laser treatments, you will have clean, healthy, smooth skin. Treatments take only a few minutes.
